The position:
In the framework of the development of its activity and its aim to ramp up its team notably for the France coverage, the candidate’s main responsibilities will be to contribute to the proper execution and management of investments (equity investments, with majority or active minority stakes, between 25 and 100 M€ per line, with a supportive, hands-on approach, good understanding of family dynamics, in privately held (private equity) or listed companies mainly based in France, with no specific sector preference, but affinity for financial services & insurance, telecommunication, security, healthcare and industrials) in order to ensure the quality and profitability of the portfolio.
He/she must more specifically:
-Contribute to carrying out investment opportunities, financing transactions and the evaluation of financial risks (analysis of the business plan, business valuation, modelling, seeking information on target companies, competitors, the business sector, undertaking strategic due diligence etc.) and taking part with the rest of the team, in the various negotiations, in the realisation of the investments and the setting-up of financial transactions,
-Contribute to the “follow-up – portfolio management” of equity interests (taking part in negotiations, financial monitoring and follow-up of equity stakes, etc.) and following up on financing…,
-Contribute to the exit processes…
Profile of the Candidate:
M/F.
Further education such as business school, university or engineering school.
The candidate must have 2 to 5 years’ experience:
-Either in the “M&A” team of an international bank or a “boutique”,
-Or in Transaction Services,
-Or in Leveraged & Acquisition Finance,
-Or in Management Consulting with a strong finance culture.
He/she must therefore demonstrate complete autonomy in carrying out his/her work and must demonstrate true relational abilities and a strong team spirit.
Fluent in English & French.
