Our Client, an international group, a global leader in digital communications, logistics and mail solutions, is seeking for its French office, in the Framework of the development of its activity (especially by mergers & acquisitions): a « M&A Manager ».

Our Client, an international group, a global leader in digital communications, logistics and mail solutions, is seeking for its French office, in the Framework of the development of its activity (especially by mergers & acquisitions): a « M&A Manager ».

Poste:

Reporting directly to Group M&A director, the candidate will focus on M&A projects, both Buy and Sell side, in a context of increased M&A activity, instrumental to deliver the group’s New Strategy. The candidate, who will have a financial background and a M&A experience, in collaboration with the rest of the team and with the different Business Units and subsidiaries of the Group, will have the following responsibilities:

-Development of M&A pipeline, sourcing of ideas and leads, interacting with Operations and advisors. Focus on generating proprietary discussions in a proactive aproach of targets,

-Monitoring of deals pipeline,

-Deal execution including valuation, negotiation of legal documentation, driving of due diligence, coordination of advisors and internal teams,

-Preparation of Post-acquisition integration plan, together with the Strategic Initiaves team. Tracking performance post-deal, together with Finance teams…

Profil recherché:

M/F. A graduate from one of the leading European and/or US business schools/engineering schools (or equivalent). MBA would be of added value, but not a prerequisite.

The candidate should have 6-8 years working experience. Relevant experience is preferred, either:

-With a mid-tier investment bank with a medium business focus or in a boutique corporate finance advisor,

-An “M&A / corporate development” team within a Corporate,

-The corporate finance team of a Big 4 accountancy firm,

A mid-market PE fund or from strategy consulting with concrete M&A experience.

The candidate should embrace many disciplines including financial modeling, business evaluation, business development, negotiation skills, market analysis.

Experience within the software / digital industry would be an advantage, though not a prerequisite.

He/she must therefore demonstrate complete autonomy in carrying out his/her work and must demonstrate true relational abilities and a strong team spirit.
