Our Client, one of the finest international Private Equity company, managing more than € 30 billion in assets, is looking for its Real Estate practice: a « Financial Director & Operations ».
The position:
1/ Fund Management and Portfolio monitoring:
-Lead the funds & SPV operations with the broad goal of enhancing financial and operational efficiency and ensuring the proper execution of the transactions,
-Set-up and monitoring funds to get the best financial/operational performance possible and notably ensuring a top-notch execution of closings (acquisition, intermediary transactions such as build up or partial exits, refinancing, exits etc),
-In charge of the negotiation and implementation of financial instruments at fund level (EBF, NAV line, Hedging, cash management etc), with the support of the treasury team if needed,
-Point of contact for the sales/marketing team and in charge of the quality of financial information provided in marketing materials, dataroom and any support towards third party,
-Active member as part of the due diligence process from third party for every topic related to financials or operations,
-Supervision of a proper monitoring of the portfolio companies’ financial performances including the preparation of monthly reporting,
-Supervision of the preparation of the quarterly valuation of the portfolio, ensuring its compliance with our Client’s methodology and standards requirements (IPEV).
2/ Team management:
-Assist the Managing Director – Head of Operations in defining and managing the Team’s budget,
-Supervising the members of the Team, taking firm decisions regarding the Team, coordinating the management of deadlines and delegating tasks clearly and effectively in order to improve the Team’s performance,
-Support the individual development of Team members and encourage their development (training, coaching, etc.),
-Work closely with our Client’s other teams as required.
3/ Development’s Strategy:
-Ensure the proper monitoring of strategy KPIs,
-Monitor the P&L of the activity concerned in conjunction with the Fund Management activity manager (Actual / Budget / Forecast / BP),
-Ensure the exhaustiveness, the quality and respect of deadline of group reporting requirements,
-Identify short-term strategic opportunities with a long-term view and help drive results for the Team, helping to define action plans and roadmaps and identify potential improvements,
-Lead, alongside co-heads or any team within the group, strategic or special projects,
-Oversee the preparation of model and ensure its resilience,
-Adapting to changes, communicating them clearly and supporting them with the Team…
Profile of the candidate:
M/F.
Further education such as business school, university or engineering school.
Fluent in English, the candidate must have 8/10-15 years of experience on similar positions.
The candidate must have:
-A good knowledge of PE funds industry,
-An experience in structuring and modernizing a department, particularly on the tools, indicators and data aspects will be sought.
-An international experience (excellent level of English) and potential to grow with the growth of the Group.
