In the framework of the development of its European activity, our Customer, a US based private equity firm, focused on corporate divestitures, carve-outs and other complex situations in the middle market, is seeking for an “Associate”.
The job:
In the framework of the development of its activity, notably in Europe, our Customer, is looking for a candidate, who, in collaboration with the entire French / European team and the different offices, will actively contribute to the proper execution and monirtoring of investments (corporate divestitures, carve-outs and other complex situations in the middle market, with equity tickets between $25m and $100m+).
He/she must more specifically:
Support the EU transactions and participate to the development of the EU office:
-Execute the investment / due diligence process.
-Build the financial model and the drafting of process documentation.
-Coordinate advisors.
-Review CIM with critical approach (deal / merits – key DD questions).
-Draft documents for the Investment Committee.
-Review data room and manage Q&A.
-Support SPA and ancillary legal documentation negotiations.
-Support on transaction financing efforts.
-Supervise interns.
-Support on transaction sourcing and portfolio monitoring…
Profile of the candidate:
M/F. Graduated from a highly ranked University, Business school or Engineering school, in France or abroad.
Totally fluent in English, ideally with an international background, the candidate must have 2 to 3 years’ experience, either in Private Equity or in M&A.
He/she must therefore demonstrate complete autonomy in carrying out his/her work as well as strong relational abilities and team spirit.
