In the framework of the development of its activity, our Client, a prestigious Venture Capital firm, one of European most active VCs in the Tech intensive and Deeptech spaces, which investment scope amongst the Digital Venture Team is: Early-Stage, B2B, Tech-intensive companies with global ambition / Investment stages: from Pre-Seed to Series B with first-investment tickets from €1m to €15m / Preferred geographies: France & Europe (with a big focus on Spain / Israel), is seeking for, to notably step up its coverage of the Israeli market: a “VC Analyst / Associate M/F”.

The position:
Within the investment team, the candidate will take part in the following missions:
-Conducting market research to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities,
-Contributing to the development of investment theses and presenting investment opportunities to the Investment Committee with proactive hunting, screening and analysis,
-Investment process: meeting with entrepreneurs, investment opportunities in-depth analysis (technology, product, market, business plan, team, etc.) together with other members of the investment team, support investment processes (due-diligence, legal and financial negotiations, deal execution),
-Portfolio and business monitoring: support the portfolio companies monitoring, business development, management of relationships with portfolio entrepreneurs,
-Building relationships with founders, co-investors, and other stakeholders in the digital ecosystem,
-Taking part in the design and development of software solutions to automate deal flow hunting and portfolio management.
Profile of the candidate:
M/F.
Top notch engineering background.
Solid Science / Tech DNA, coding skills would be a plus.
Passionate about Tech-intensive company, the candidate must have 1 to 3 years of experience in the Tech industry, either in:
-A start-up / scale-up / tech corporation in engineering, data science, dev/devops, product positions,
-A tech/deeptech Fund as an Analyst.
Fluent in French & English. Notions of Hebrew would be a plus.
Location:
As the job position includes the specific coverage of the Israeli market, the position will be based in Paris, but will require regular travels to Israel, and eventually a full-time move within 12 to 18 months in Tel Aviv.
