SWEN Capital Partners is seeking to reinforce its SWEN Blue Ocean team by hiring an Investment Director (F/M).

SWEN Blue Ocean invests in innovations to regenerate ocean health and achieve SDG14, with the aim to deliver both systemic impact and competitive market returns. The investment strategy focuses on Series A investments and includes an allocation for seed and growth stages investments. Investments will mainly target European companies.

Poste:

Investment Director main responsibilities:

-Conduct market intelligence.

-Engage with the ocean health ecosystem.

-Originate investment opportunities.

-Analyze investment opportunities, including market, financial and impact analysis.

-Execute deals, manage due diligence, negotiation and run the internal investment process.

-Monitor portfolio companies, including through serving as board member.

-Create exit opportunities for portfolio companies.

-Execute exit opportunities, including by running the internal exit process and actively contribute to negotiations (terms and conditions).

-Actively contribute to the team reputation and recognition in the Ocean Innovation Ecosystem.

-Support fundraising.

Profil recherché:

A minimum of 5 years venture capital experience in Venture Capital (Independent VC or Corporate VC) with international exposure and proven experience in origination, execution, monitoring and exit.

-Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

-Entrepreneurial mindset and genuinely committed to impact.

-Passionate about the environment and motivated to regenerate ocean health.

-Team player and solid interpersonal skills

-English is needed, other languages will be valued.
